Finally, outside medical consultation and patient advocate intervention resulted in a change of doctors and treatment. She was given less medication and fewer restrictions. She returned to her artwork, once again creating numerous drawings, paintings and designs and portraits on cloth. She took on a paid janitorial job at the hospital, reporting for work regularly, saving her money and receiving compliments for her hard work. |
